Do Squirrels Hibernate?
It seems that every time I have a few days off from working my part time job that one or both of my kids come down with "something". Ryan has had a fever the last 2 mornings. Not enough to make him really sick, but enough to turn him into a very whiny and grumpy almost 14 year old infant. I see that he is taking after his father. sigh
On the other hand, I was able to get both boys through their lessons, 3 loads of laundry washed and dried, do the dishes from last night, and get dinner in the oven and ready to go. I even had time for a shower and to shave my legs. They were bad enough that I had to chase away a small squirrel that wanted to hibernate on my shin this winter. Hmm.. Do squirrels hibernate? They are everywhere here in Florida, but now that I think about it, I cant recall if I see them in winter. I bet I will be thinking of that tonight when I can't sleep. Of course the entire time I have been off work I have fallen asleep super early and woke up before my clock would normally go off. I also felt rested and refreshed. Tonight though. I have to work the next 3 days. I will be unable to sleep (what with thinking of the squirrells), until abouut 4:30 am.
Because at 4:30 am, I am always sleepy on work days. At 4;30 am, I know I have less than an hour before I have to get up and go to the grind. 4:30 hates me. Except on off days.
